Rwanda Gorillas and Uganda Primates Tour-10 days
The 10 days vacation package combines the best of Rwanda-the gorillas and a selection of some of Uganda's best vacation attractions-Chimps in Mgahinga and Kibale, game and wildlife in Queen Elizabeth, plus relaxing on the shores of magical Lake Bunyonyi.
The vacation holiday starts with trekking mountain gorillas in Rwanda sometimes popularly referred to by Mzungus as Ruanda. After trekking the gorillas in Rwanda the package holiday itinerary then crosses over the border to Uganda starting with exploration of the Nkuringo Bwindi area for walking safaris in Bwindi Impenetrable forest, a boat ride on serene Lake Mutanda. Stay at Chameleon Hill Lodge for an un-forgettable African wild experience.
The next day, we travel to Lake Bunyonyi for an experience of cruising on the lake in a dug-out canoe. We then transfer to Queen Elizabeth Park the following day having a game drive enroute in search of the tree climbing lion in Ishasha. Stay at the beautiful Katara Lodge for a few nights to remember. Katara Lodge is our base for excursions into Kyambura for chimp tracking, morning and afternoon game drives in Queen Elizabeth Park in search of the cats, lions, leopards, tigers and of course elephants galore.
We finally travel to Fort Portal where we stay at out of this world-Kyaninga Lodge, a beautiful lodge perfectly situated on the edge of a fresh water crater. Kyaninga is our base for chimp trekking in Kibale forest and time permitting a Bigodi swamp walk. There is no better place to crown this splendid vacation than at Kyaninga Lodge from where we depart in the morning to drive back to Entebbe and onward for our next destination or back home.

Vacation Day 2 Gorilla trekking.
- Registration at park headquarters for gorilla trekking.
- Assigned to gorilla group in groups of 8 each.
- Proceed to gorilla trekking trailheads
- Trek the gorillas, spend an hour with them and then return to lodge for lunch
- Afternoon at leisure to explore greater Virunga area.

Vacation Day 3 Golden Monkeys tracking.

- Alternatively, we may travel to Lake Kivu 1.5hrs away and relax on the shores of the lake for the day. Later returning to PNV.
