This short 4 days Rwanda gorilla vacation offers visitors to Rwanda the rare opportunity to visit with the Rwanda mountain gorillas in their natural habitat in the mountain tropical rainforest of Virunga Volcanoes National Park Rwanda. This short gorilla vacation package focuses on just Rwanda gorillas, even though for visitors who prefer may also track the less known golden monkeys in PNV Rwanda as well as trek to Dian Fossey's grave to appreciate why Dian Fossey spent most of her working life in the Virungas trying to protect the endangered mountain gorillas.

- Briefing on your safari

- Transfer to PNV 2.5hrs
- o/n Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/Muhabura Hotel.
Vacation Day 2 Gorilla trekking.
- Registration at park headquarters for gorilla trekking.
- Assigned to gorilla group in groups of 8 each.
- Proceed to gorilla trekking trailheads
- Trek the gorillas, spend an hour with them and then return to lodge for lunch
- Afternoon at leisure to explore greater Virunga area.

Vacation Day 3 Golden Monkeys tracking.
- Golden monkey tracking OR Dian Fossey trek OR Hike a Volcano in PNV
- Alternatively, we may travel to Lake Kivu 1.5hrs away and relax on the shores of the lake for the day. Later returning to PNV.
- Afternoon visit to the twin lakes of Bulera and Ruhondo
- Visit a cultural village or local school or local market
- Nature walks
Vacation Day 4 PNV-Kigali-Departure
- After breakfast drive back to Kigali. Time permitting visit the genocide memorial.
- Shopping for crafts at Kimironko market
- Transfer to Kigali airport for your outbound flight.
