Discover vacation holiday highlights of a Rwanda tour. The 8 days vacation package includes tracking chimpanzees in Nyungwe forest . After tracking chimps the tour package proceed to Lake Kivu where we relax at Cormoran Lodge for a few days before travelling to Volcanoes National Park where we have saved the vacation best for last-Gorilla trekking. While in PNV Rwanda, you may have the option of either tracking golden monkeys, trekking to Dian Fossey's grave or climbing Bisoke/Karisimbi volcano.

Vacation Day 2 Nyungwe Forest
- After breakfast set off;
- Canopy walk
- Forest walk

Vacation Day 3 Nyungwe-Kibuye
- Early morning chimp tracking
- Later depart after lunch depart for Kibuye.

Vacation Day 4 Transfer to Gisenyi Lake Kivu.
- After breakfast transfer to Lake Kivu
- Enjoyable relaxing through beautiful plantations
- Afternoon at leisure relaxing on the shores of Lake Kivu
- O/n Kivu Serena Hotel OR Paradis Malahide Hotel/Inzu Lodge.
Vacation Day 5 Lake Kivu
- Spend the day simply relaxing on the shores of Lake Kivu
- Boat ride on Lake Kivu visiting islands on the lake
- Coffee plantation visit
- Back to hotel for overnight.
Vacation Day 6 Lake Kivu Gisenyi - Ruhengeri PNV
- After lunch depart for PNV.
- 1.5hrs relaxing drive. Arrival at your lodge and later explore the greater Virunga area at leisure.
Vacation Day 7 Gorilla trekking.
- Registration at park headquarters for gorilla trekking briefing
- Assigned to gorilla group in groups of 8 each.
- Proceed to gorilla trekking trailheads
- Trek the gorillas spend an hour with them and then return to lodge for lunch
- Afternoon at leisure to explore greater Virunga area.o/n Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/Muhabura Hotel.
Vacation Day 8 Golden Monkeys trekking.
- Assemble at park HQ for golden monkey tracking
- 2 habituated groups of golden monkeys
- Return to lodge for lunch
- Afternoon visit to the twin lakes of Bulera and Ruhondo
- Visit a cultural village or local school or local market
- Nature walks
- o/n Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/Muhabura Hotel.
Vacation Day 9 PNV-Kigali-Departure.
- After breakfast embark on a 2.5hrs leisurely drive back to Kigali.
- Lunch at Khana Kazana restaurant
- Shopping for crafts at Kimironko market
- Transfer to Kigali airport for your outbound flight.
