We offer this 9days Rwanda gorillas and Tanzania Northern circuit safari to clients wishing to trek the gorillas in Volcanoes National Park Rwanda followed by a wildlife and big 5 game safari in Tanzania’s Northern circuit to include game drives in Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire National Parks.
The safari starts with a 3 days’ gorilla tour in Rwanda to trek the mountain gorillas. Thereafter you fly from Kigali to Kilimanjaro airport with Rwanda Air for the start of your Tanzania safari. If you prefer we can extend your safari to Zanzibar for a beach holiday on some of the best beaches in Africa.
Condensed safari Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival at Kigali airport Rwanda o/n Golf Hills Residence
Day 2: Kigali city tour including visit to the genocide memorial and later transfer to Volcanoes National Park. o/n Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge/Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.
Day 3: Gorilla tracking in Volcanoes National Park Rwanda. Afternoon visit to a cultural village. o/n Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge/Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.
Day 4: Morning transfer 2.5hrs drive to Kigali. Depart to Kilimanjaro Airport with Rwanda Air.
Day 5: Game drives in Lake Manyara National Park.
Day 6: Transfer to Serengeti. Game drives in Serengeti National Park.
Day 7: Full day of game drives in Serengeti.
Day 8: Game drives in Ngorongoro Crater.
